Collection of Information: We collect non-personally identifiable information about you in a number of ways, including tracking your activities through your IP address or most-recently-visited URL. However, we do not collect any personally identifiable information about you unless you voluntarily submit contact information to us, such as name, phone, email address, and mailing address by filling out a form or survey, registering your email address with us or emailing us. We may also collect personal information from you at other points on our site that state that personal information is being collected.
Disclosure of Information: We do not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to any third parties.
Credit Consent: In connection with your application for a mortgage loan, you hereby authorize us (the Broker or any subsequent Lender/Investor who is processing your application for a mortgage loan) to order a consumer credit report and obtain and verify information regarding your personal and financial background. This credit check will be performed with one or more credit bureaus, and the report we receive may include, but is not limited to, your marital status, number of dependents, social security number verification, current and past employers, current deposit accounts, current and past consumer credit accounts, current and past residences, and your mortgage and/or rental history. There may be a cost associated with the performance of this credit check, and you understand that credit inquiries have the potential to impact your credit score. You further authorize us to verify your past and present employment earnings records, bank accounts, stock holdings, any asset balances and any other information deemed necessary to process your mortgage loan application. The information received will only be used to process your application for a mortgage loan. If any adverse action is taken based on the consumer credit report, you will have an opportunity to receive a copy of the report. This consent will be valid for a period of 180 days from the date hereof.
eConsent and SMS/Text Message Consent: By creating an account or submitting a loan application you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You also expressly consent to participate electronically in all aspects of the transaction and all activities on the platform, including the use of electronic records and signatures, rather than submitting and receiving documents in paper form. You acknowledge that you are not required to create an account or apply for a loan through our platform, and you agree to conduct the transaction electronically as a convenience to you and the other parties involved.
You understand that Crown Mortgage will not provide paper copies of any communications or other documentation relating to your application or your loan. You have the right to request paper copies of any communications or other documentation. To request paper copies, you may contact Crown Mortgage to receive a copy at no cost. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to conduct the transaction electronically, without conditions or fees. However, you understand that withdrawal of your consent may delay completion of your mortgage loan. You may withdraw your consent by sending written notice to Crown Mortgage.
You also consent to receive text messages to your mobile phone or number you provided in your mortgage application, with marketing messages, status updates and mortgage documentation requests. Mobile Numbers are not shared. Message and data rates may apply.
You hereby confirm that you have the necessary hardware and software to access documents electronically, including an email account, internet access, web browser access, and the ability to view documents in portable document format (pdf). You further confirm that you have the necessary hardware and software to retain the electronic documents, including sufficient local or cloud storage and access to a printer. In order that you may continue to be contacted electronically, you agree to promptly notify your Crown Mortgage of any change in your email address and phone number at their address of record. You agree to proactively monitor your loan application and to stay apprised of the process and important deadlines, and you acknowledge that you may contact your broker or lender with questions regarding your loan application or status. Crown Mortgage will not be responsible or liable for the failure of delivery of any electronic notices, documents or other communications relating to your loan application, whether as a result of settings or malfunctions in any computer, browser, Internet service, calendaring application, other software or hardware issues, or otherwise.
Opt Out: We provide you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, when we ask for this information. For example, if you purchase a product/service but do not wish to receive any additional marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference on by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in the footer of the email. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the footer included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at the reply address of the email or you may contact us by phone at 816-549-2424.
Third Party Sites Review and Removal of your Personally Identifiable Data: If you provide us with personally identifiable information to have us perform ongoing services to you, we will provide you with a way to review the information we have on file and either change or remove such data. To do so, please notify us via post or email at the address above and we will provide you with your contact information for review. To make changes, send us the changes and we will respond to your request for access within thirty (30) days of the request. Unfortunately, to the extent that such information is also stored in other databases, we cannot always ensure that such corrections or deletions will reach the other databases. If you wish to have information you provided to us online removed from our records, please provide us with the information as you submitted it to us at the address above. We will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your information is removed from our records.
Third Party Tracking: We use a third-party tracking service from Google Analytics that uses cookies to track information about visitors to our site in the aggregate on page visits, time on page, and visitor bounce rates to enable our making the site better and more informative to our visitors.
Legal Disclosure: We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our website.
